Is BBQ Pro ‘enough security’. YES, I use other tools in htaccess, Firewall on my server, Fail2Ban etc. and of course using strong passwords, dynamic IP blocking and not using admin as a username — is there any reason to use other WordPress security plugins? They seem ‘bloated’, complicated and redundant. That is why I like BBQ Pro — simple and it works.

BanHammer Pro works great for my client’s forums. The default spam plugins are not very useful and cause a lot of false positives. Banhammer makes tracking, banning and whitelisting users a breeze. It works in conjunction with Blackhole and BBQ to make a solid line of defense. It is extremely lightweight as well.

This is one of my go-to security extensions. All of the developer’s products (BBQ and Blackhole) that I have used are 1) easy to set-up, 2) very powerful, 3) perform as advertised, and 4) have an ounce of humor.

It’s simple, effective and easy to use, just enter your GA ID check the options that are best for you and you’re all set to go. You’ll be set in a minute. No complicated authorization using 3rd party (better for privacy). If you need something simple to set GA on your WP website this is a great choice! Can’t go wrong with it!

I must say that I actually underestimated the power of this plugin. I was able to work with my site’s custom fields in complex ways necessary for my website. Free Version Works out of the box with no issues (6 STARS for perfection). After using the free version I purchased the Pro version and I give it (7 STARS for perfection Plus awesomeness!) also works out of the box with no problems! The Pro version is simply amazing, with lots more features. The docs are extensive and very well written covering every aspect, as well as brilliant Video tutorials too.
