Do you verify compatibility with different WordPress versions (I am on 5.2.3) when you provide a patch? I see in your release notes an item “Tests on WordPress 5.3 (alpha)” and on your prior versions “Tests on WordPress 5.2.” Are you indicating compatibility with these lines? If so, do you know that WordPress shows users the line “Compatibility with WordPress 5.2.3: Unknown.”
Thank you for your attention.
Dustin Dewett
Hi Dustin, yes that is correct. The official tested up to version is the current version of WordPress. Behind the scenes I also develop on the latest WP nightly build, which at the time is 5.3 alpha. All plugin versions are tested with current/latest public WordPress (and nightly versions). Much testing, total compatibility.
The plugin is great, but the test count chart of the firewall setting page cannot be adapted to the mobile, it looks very strange, can you fix this in the next version,Let us view the count chart at the mobile side.
Yes, I will work on improving mobile styles for the BBQ Pro settings page.
Thank you for your feedback, yi.
Thank you!In addition, I want to ask when I can open the discount code again next time, I want to buy a plugin. PS: My country exchange rate is 1: 6
The discount codes can be used only once per customer. If you have a new code, it can be used anytime.
What I want to say is that when the next promotion is probably?
I’m not sure, but if you want to reach us directly via the contact form, we would be glad to send an exclusive discount code to save a few bucks.
Hi, I sent an email to your contact form.
Just sent a reply, please check spam folder if you don’t see it soon.
Hello Jeff
Thank you for this plugin :) It’s great. A request about WordPress MultiSite. I have some with 2-3 subsites, and in one of them I need to configure the plugin. But I have others with hundred of subsites.
I think it should be a great option to have a “general settings” applied for all the network, so, one configuration, infinite sites. Maybe the option to “Configure all” (in the Network section) and the option to “Configure separately” and then, the configuration is disables in each site.
As I said, thank you for this great plugin :)
Hi Javier,
Thank you for the reminder, this is something that’s been on the to-do list for awhile. I will check again if there is any way to get the licensing software to work with Multisite. I really appreciate the feedback :)
Hi, can you add hidden Plugin and Themes to BBQ Pro, I think this looks more secure and prevents malicious scanning
I said to hide the path of Plugin and themes.
It’s an interesting idea, but outside of the scope of a firewall. In general, a firewall protects against malicious requests, at the HTTP/request level. For other security measures, like hiding file paths and such, that’s best handled with a dedicated plugin or with custom code. Thank you for your feedback, yi zhang.
Hello, have you used similar code? Or do you have any suggestions?
No sorry, it’s not something that I’ve done or can recommend. Just too many issues associated with modifying/hiding default-generated paths/URLs. The benefits are small and outweighed by the headache of implementation and maintenance, etc. But your mileage may vary.
Thank you
:::Suggestion Box Item:::
Hello Jeff, for the sake of my old eyes, I would love the ability to change the firewall lists display to simple black text on a white background…Yes, I can get by with the white on the yellow (image, I believe it is) but it does really strain my eyes.
Thanks for listening.
Hi James, are you referring to the Pattern Count (orange bar that shows how many hits)?
