This tutorial explains how to add Jeff Starr’s Ultimate Block List to Stop AI Bots to BBQ Pro with just a few clicks.

Add the AI Block List

First, familiarize yourself with importing patterns into BBQ Pro. Then go ahead and download the plain-text file from Perishable Press. This file contains all of the AI bot user agents. Name the file user_agent.txt and import it into BBQ Pro with these steps:

  1. Visit BBQ Pro “Tools” page
  2. Click “Choose File” to select the file, user_agent.txt
  3. Click the “Import” button

Done! After import is complete, your new patterns will be displayed under “Custom Patterns” in the Firewall settings. Note that any duplicate/existing patterns will be ignored and not imported.
