BBQ Pro version 1.6 now available! The new version focuses on compatibility with WordPress 4.7, and also brings a few other improvements.

Improvements

BBQ Pro continues to be super-solid in terms of security and performance, but several beneficial changes were made to make it even better:

  • Replaced esc_url() with esc_url_raw() in bbq()
  • Added /bin/bash to Advanced Request URIs
  • Added missing default setting for whitelist_ips
  • Removed default styles for <abbr> on plugin page (thanks Firefox)
  • Changed stable tag from trunk to latest version

Additionally, plugin documentation was updated, and further testing was performed on WP version 4.7. Also, new tutorials and docs are soon to be posted here at Plugin Planet. See the plugin’s readme.txt file for more details and complete Changelog.

Thank you to those who contribute with feature suggestions and bug reports!
