BBQ Pro version 2.0 now available! BBQ Pro 2.0 adds new patterns for “Request URI” and “Query String” vectors. BBQ Pro 2.0 also updates the default set of whitelisted IP addresses and improves some miscellaneous details under the hood. If the plugin license is active on your site, you should see the new version available for upgrade in the WP Admin Area. If you own the plugin but do not have it activated, you can log in to the Members Area and download the latest version.

New BBQ Patterns

BBQ Pro 2.0 brings a collection of new patterns. To enable them, visit the “Tools” menu and enable all options under “Reset Patterns”. Then click the “Reset” button. Note that this will reset all patterns and stats. Here are the patterns that have been added:

Basic → Request URI

Other Improvements

Further improvements made to BBQ Pro 2.0:

  • Updates default set of whitelisted IP addresses
  • Updates info in plugin Help tabs on settings page
  • Replaces requestmaker.com with hurl.it
  • Disables error logging of invalid IP addresses
  • Renames the “Patterns” menu to “Firewall”
  • Adds rel="noopener noreferrer" to blank targets
  • Regenerates default translation template
