Installing Blackhole Pro is just like installing any other WordPress plugin. After downloading the plugin zip file, you basically have two options for installing: upload via FTP or use the built-in WP plugin uploader/installer. Here are the steps for either installation method.
Important: Before installing Blackhole Pro, you must remove the free version of the plugin!
Install via FTP
- Download, unzip plugin directory
/blackhole-pro/ - Connect via FTP and upload to
/wp-content/plugins/ - Activate Blackhole Pro from the WordPress Plugins screen
- Visit the Blackhole Pro ▸ License screen to activate the license
Once the license is activated, Blackhole will be enabled. You can use the default settings or visit Blackhole Settings to customize as desired.
Install via Admin
- Download the plugin zip file
- In the WP Admin Area, visit Plugins ▸ Add New ▸ Upload
- Select the plugin zip file from your computer and click “Install Now”
- Activate Blackhole Pro from the Plugins screen
- Visit the Blackhole Pro License screen to activate the license
Once the license is activated, Blackhole will be enabled. You can use the default settings or visit Blackhole Settings to customize as desired.
