Installing USP Pro follows the same process as any other WordPress plugin. After downloading the plugin zip file, you basically have two options for installing: upload via (S)FTP or use the built-in WP plugin uploader/installer. Here are the steps for either installation method.

Important: Before installing USP Pro, you must remove the free version of the plugin! Before doing so, you may want to make a backup of any settings for future reference.

Install via (S)FTP

  1. Make sure the free version of USP is deactivated/removed
  2. Download, unzip plugin directory /usp-pro/
  3. Connect via (S)FTP and upload to /wp-content/plugins/
  4. Activate USP Pro from the Plugins screen

Install via Admin

  1. Make sure the free version of USP is deactivated/removed
  2. Download the plugin zip file
  3. In the WP Admin Area, visit Plugins ▸ Add New ▸ Upload
  4. Select the plugin zip file from your computer and click “Install Now”
  5. Activate USP Pro from the Plugins screen

After installation, you are ready to configure and begin using USP Pro!
