Simple Ajax Chat Pro (SAC Pro) provides sound or audio alerts for new chat messages. So whenever someone leaves a chat, a short sound alert is played. This guide shows how to enable it globally, for all chat forms. Choose from six unique sound effects or add your own.

Enable sound alerts

To enable sound alerts for all chat forms, visit the SAC Pro settings ▸ Notifications ▸ “Sound Alerts”.

There you can choose from the following sound effects:

  • Default
  • Ascend
  • Bubble Pop
  • String Plink
  • String Pluck
  • Synth Key
  • Disable

You can experiment with the different sounds and choose the best one. Or you can even add a custom sound alert.

To disable all sound alerts, select “Disable” in the Sound Alerts setting and save changes.

Tip: In addition to sound alerts, you also can enable browser notifications and email alerts.
